1. Introduction

Threadkin ("we", "us", "our") is an educational workshop provider registered and operating in Bangkok, Thailand. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal data of individuals who use our website, contact us, or attend our programmes.

This policy applies to data processed in connection with our services: the Personal Records Starter Appointment, the Family Conversation Workshop, and the Household Records Coordination Programme. All processing is carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) of Thailand.

If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the personal data necessary to provide our educational services and to communicate with you about your enquiry or booking. This includes:

  • Contact information: name, email address, and telephone number, collected when you submit the website contact form or make an enquiry by phone.
  • Session intake information: general notes on the nature of your household's records or communication situation, used only to prepare for your session. This information is not retained after the programme is complete.
  • Website usage data: standard analytics data including pages visited, time on site, and browser type, collected through cookies where you have consented.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, financial information, or copies of any documents viewed or handled during a session. Session content belongs entirely to the participant.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the PDPA, we process personal data on the following bases:

  • Contract performance: to process your booking and deliver the programme you have enrolled in.
  • Legitimate interest: to respond to enquiries, manage session scheduling, and maintain records of past bookings for our own operational purposes.
  • Consent: for analytics cookies and any optional marketing communications.

4. How We Use Your Data

Personal data collected through the website or during intake is used to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and confirm your booking
  • Schedule and coordinate sessions
  • Communicate any changes to session arrangements
  • Maintain internal records for up to two years after your last session
  • Improve our programmes using aggregated, anonymised feedback data

We do not share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell personal data. Data is not transferred outside Thailand except where essential technical infrastructure requires it (for example, our email hosting provider), in which case appropriate safeguards are in place.

5. Data Retention

Contact information and booking records are retained for two years after your last interaction with Threadkin. Session intake notes are deleted within thirty days of the programme's completion. Website analytics data is retained for twelve months. You may request early deletion at any time — see Section 7 for how to do so.

6. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. These include:

  • HTTPS encryption on all web pages
  • Access to contact records restricted to studio staff involved in session coordination
  • No physical notes leaving the studio premises

In the event of a data breach that poses risk to your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required under the PDPA.

7. Your Rights

Under Thai data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your data, subject to any legal retention requirements
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within thirty days.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies for essential functionality and, with your consent, for analytics purposes. For a full explanation of the cookies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.

9. External Links

Our website may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend you review their policies independently.

10. Participants Under 18

Our programmes are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen. If a participant under eighteen is enrolled as part of a household programme with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, that guardian's contact details are used for all communication.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. If changes are material, we will notify existing participants by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
